Iain is a writer/director working across drama, documentary and theatre and is currently developing his first feature drama, KEEPER, a Highland thriller, under the EIFF Network scheme.

In 2015 Iain was part of the Scottish Delegation of filmmakers to Sheffield DocFest where he screened part of his documentary, BREAKING DOWN THE WALLS, on Strathmartine Hospital in Dundee.  He is also currently producing/directing a one-hour natural history film THE WHISKY RIVER for NHK.  This is his fourth film for the long-running wildlife series.

Recent work includes KITTIWAKES, a short drama set on a derelict sea fort, and the documentary ARCHITECTURE AND THE IMAGINATION about his grandfather.
